Why did you decide to join Sakigake Semiconductor? I learned about my encounter with Sakigake Semiconductor on a job hunting website for researchers. I thought that large companies were not for me. I felt like I didn't know what a big organization was doing. I still remember very well that the person in charge at the time said to me during the interview, "I'm busy, are you okay?" The way he said it sounded like he was having a lot of fun, so I felt that there was no doubt that the company seemed to be fun even if it was busy. Now I want to say, "I'm busy, but it's fun!" When I was in college, I feel that my personality became brighter.
Work with me I find the actual work to be busy but enjoyable. There's a constant stream of things I want to do and things I need to do. My hobby is electronics, and it often intertwines with my work—there's almost no boundary between the two (laughs). Many of my ideas have turned into work projects, contributing to product development. Seeing new products come to life makes them feel Sakigake Semiconductor provides a broad range of responsibilities for each individual, allowing for diverse experiences. It's a company where you can explore various aspects of your field.
For students who are job hunting Venture companies are exciting! You can do anything! Sakigake Semiconductor is a company that lets you take on challenges. If you have the desire, you can do everything, not just a part of it. I encourage those with curiosity, a love for experimenting with machines or disassembling things, to join us! Why did you decide to join Sakigake Semiconductor? I had been doing research and development at a large company for a long time, but when I wanted to evolve myself further at a venture company, I had the opportunity to be introduced to Sakigake Semiconductor. I was interested in it because I had used plasma equipment in my previous research. I joined the company thinking that my experience of being involved in more than 100 patent applications could be utilized at Sakigake Semiconductor. I feel that it is a company that is open and flexible in many aspects.
Work with me I was recognized for my research and development experience and achievements in two different companies, leading to the establishment of a new department where I was assigned. In my previous role, I had experience with collaborative research and outsourcing device development, so I believe I can contribute to Sakigake Semiconductor by understanding and proposing solutions from the customer's perspective. Hearing direct feedback from customers is a new and exciting experience for me, and it comes with a sense of anticipation. I'm committed to leveraging the matching of customer needs with our technical capabilities to contribute to the development of new products that benefit many, while also building trust and strong relationships.
How I spend my days off I practice swordsmanship almost every week. Learning that my maternal family has a samurai lineage sparked my interest, and I began practicing in my 30s. Swordsmanship comes with the teaching that its purpose is to 'serve society,' which aligns closely with my approach to work. I hold ranks of Yagyu Shinkage-ryu and Iaido, and I even performed a dedication Iaido demonstration at Kasuga Taisha Shrine in Nara.
For students who are job hunting I would like you to experience starting a new business from scratch through your work. When I get involved from the beginning, I have a strong desire to grow myself. We have an environment where we can do that. Don't be afraid to persist, and above all, keep challenging yourself!

Why did you decide to join Sakigake Semiconductor? The introduction to Sakigake Semiconductor came through a professor who was collaborating with our company on joint research. While there was a path to stay in the university, I personally felt it might not be the right fit for me. However, I hadn't found something I was passionate about yet, and I was going through job hunting without much progress, feeling a bit down. That's when I received an invitation, and it lifted my spirits.
